I am one of Kat’s first clients and still work with her 2-3 times a week when I’m in town. Kat knows what my body is capable of and tailors our workouts accordingly, always pushing me to dig deeper. July 29th I fought my first fight after three years of training with Kat. Even a week and a half later, I'm still feeling that whole "I can take on the world" feeling after winning the fight. I am currently a college student in Denver from California. I lettered in two sports back in high school with hopes to play at a division one rugby school preferably UC Berkeley. Before I met Kat my goal was attainable but I needed an extra edge that she provided me with through training and showed in my performance. Unfortunately by my senior year of high school I had suffered four concussions and was unable to participate in any contact sports at all. Kat helped me transition from training for a competitive sport to lifestyle training. She showed me that all of my competitiveness that I had reserved for sports only could be used in a wide variety of ways. Kat in my opinion is not an ordinary trainer in the sense that you only work out with; for me she was a mentor whom I could got to with my problems and literally work them out becoming a sort of meditation. This not only allowed me to to relax and clear my head but also to get in the best shape of my life so far.
