I began my journey to get healthy and fit about 6yrs ago.  I was told that my cholesterol as to high and needed to drop some weight.  I decided it was time to rejoin a gym and take control.  Of course I joined the typical gym and paid for a personal trainer.  As i started my program, I also met with a nutritionist because as we all know it takes both diet and exercise together to be healthy.   As I started to lose some weight and gain some muscle, a friend of mine introduced me to a boxing class.  I was hooked right away and joined on the spot.  I took the classes at various times and different days to find which class worked best for me.  Thats when I started taking Kat's boxing class and truly fell in love with it, and it didn't end there, I've been training with Kat ever since and have transformed myself into the best me, something I never thought was possible, a stronger, healthier me.

I lost 43 lbs and have kept most of it off over the last 6yrs.  Kat has been such a HUGE influence and inspiration thru out my journey.   Everything she has taught me with Grit Girl Training has been such a major part of my fitness love and life style.  I have been able to take everything I learned from her not only about fitness but about who I am and how far I have come to becoming a personal trainer myself.   The confidence and balance that Kat has instilled in me is something I can now use to help someone who was like me to reach their goals and a healthier life style.

Kat is not only a trainer, she is a mentor....she is my mentor and not just when it comes to fitness, she is a mentor for me in life.  She is someone who I know I can trust, rely on and know that no matter what she is always there for me....it doesn't end with the fitness.
